October 12, 1929. After 27 years of playing
football in hardscrabble fields and old baseball
parks, the University of Georgia Bulldogs
finally have a permanent home. It's called
Sanford Stadium. Over the years it will
become one of the largest and most historic
stadiums in the country, the only place you can
go to play "between the hedges."
This DVD takes a look back at the vision, the
hard work and the dedication involved to create
and enlarge a truly great stadium. Relive some
of the most memorable moments in George
football history, and hear some behind the
scenes stories that are almost too incredible to
believe.

impressive architecture, then you will love
